General Information

Golden Buggy Adventure Algarve provides off-road buggy tours in the Algarve region of Portugal. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, services, and products offered by us, including but not limited to buggy tours, merchandise, and any associated services.

 

Booking and Payment

  • Reservations: To secure a tour booking, full payment must be made at the time of reservation via our website or by other approved methods. Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and processed.
  • Pricing: Prices for tours and services are listed in Euros and may be subject to change without notice. Any applicable taxes and fees will be included in the final price at checkout.
  • Group Discounts: Discounts for group bookings are available, and must be requested at the time of booking.

 

Tour Participation

  • Minimum Age for Drivers: Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Passengers: Children must be at least 6 years old to participate as passengers. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Health Requirements: Participants should be in good health and able to safely operate or ride in the buggy. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please consult with a doctor before booking. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate in our tours due to safety concerns.
  • Clothing and Footwear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, closed-toed shoes, and bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. We also advise bringing a camera to capture your adventure.

 

Safety

  • Safety Briefing: All participants will receive a safety briefing prior to the tour. It is essential to follow all safety instructions given by our guides to ensure your safety.
  • Vehicle Condition: Our buggies are regularly maintained to the highest safety standards. However, participants are required to follow all instructions on how to operate the vehicles safely.

 

Weather and Conditions

  • Bad Weather: In case of extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, storms, etc.), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the tour for safety reasons. We will notify you in advance and offer an alternative date or a refund.
  • Tour Modifications: We may modify the route or content of the tour for safety, weather, or operational reasons. We will ensure that any changes do not affect the quality of the experience.

 

Merchandise

  • Purchasing Merchandise: Merchandise such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, and gadgets can be purchased directly from us during or after the tour. All merchandise is sold as-is, and no returns or exchanges will be accepted unless the product is damaged or defective upon purchase.
  • Pricing: Merchandise prices are listed at the time of purchase and may be subject to change.

 

Liability and Insurance

  • Liability Waiver: By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved in off-road adventures. You agree to hold harmless Golden Buggy Adventure Algarve, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability related to injury, loss, or damage.
  • Insurance: We provide liability insurance for all tours, but this does not cover personal belongings or negligence. We recommend guests purchase their own travel insurance for coverage on these aspects.

 

Personal Data and Privacy

  • Data Collection: When making a booking, we may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, and payment information. This data will be used solely for the purposes of fulfilling your booking and communicating with you about the tour.
  • Privacy: We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

 

Conduct and Behavior

  • Respectful Behavior: Participants must behave in a respectful manner towards other guests, guides, and staff. Disruptive behavior, intoxication, or any actions deemed unsafe will result in removal from the tour without a refund.
  • Damage to Vehicles: Participants are responsible for the condition of the vehicles. Any damages caused by negligence, recklessness, or failure to follow instructions will result in the participant being charged for repairs or replacement.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Golden Buggy Adventure Algarve reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and any bookings made after the modification date will be subject to the updated terms.

 

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
